Tamara Malhas is the Head of Communication Department at Mashrek International School. Prior to that, she was a consultant in the United Arab Emirates to government entities such as the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, the Crown Prince’s Court, twofour54 media zone and Flash Entertainment. Before moving to the UAE and after obtaining a Master’s Degree in Education from Concordia University in Montreal, she managed the Administration and Admissions Departments at Mashrek International School in Amman for eight years, being involved in the accreditation process of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and the Middle Years Programme. At Mashrek, she also founded the Universities Advising Center as well as the Creativity, Action and Community and Service Programmes. Tamara is currently on the Board of Trustees of Mashrek International School.

Upon graduating from McGill University with a double major in Humanistic and Middle Eastern Studies, she worked closely as an Administrative Assistant with His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan Bin Talal of Jordan who is involved in a number of organizations, such as: the International Crisis Group, Forum 2000, United Nations Higher Commissioner for Refugees, World Conference for Religion and Peace, Club of Rome, Arab Thought Forum and The Higher Council for Science and Technology, to name a few.
