Mashrek Tigers Teams (Sports)

At Mashrek International School, we believe that sports play a vital role in shaping confident, well-rounded students. Through our structured Physical Education and athletics programme, students develop teamwork, leadership, discipline, resilience, and a strong sense of belonging—skills that extend far beyond the playing field.

Our proud Mashrek Tigers teams represent the school in a wide range of sports, including Track & Field, Volleyball, Football, Basketball, Cross Country, Gymnastics, and Chess. Each team is guided by experienced coaches who focus not only on performance, but also on character, sportsmanship, and positive relationships. The Tigers environment nurtures friendship, collaboration, self-confidence, and mutual respect, helping students build lifelong skills and strong connections with their peers.

Mashrek follows international best practices in school sports and has been AFEC-accredited by the World Academy of Sports since 2019, ensuring that our student-athletes are supported both academically and athletically. The school is a full member of the Amman Athletics Conference (AAC) and an invitational member of the OASIS Activities Conference (OAC), providing students with regular, high-quality local and regional competitive opportunities.

Our teams consistently perform to high international standards and proudly represent Mashrek in national and international tournaments, achieving outstanding results and bringing home prestigious titles.

Members of these teams are students from grades 5 to 12 and selected through tryouts by meeting specific requirements. The school provides transportation back home for all team members.

At Mashrek, the Tigers are more than teams; they are a family. Through sport, students build confidence, friendships, leadership, and a love for healthy competition in a supportive, value-driven environment.
