This is an application form that will be considered a registration form upon acceptance. It does not guarantee vacancy or commit the school to accepting the applicant. Completing this form only adds the applicant to the school's waiting list, after paying a non-refundable fee of (30) JD. Mashrek International School is a bilingual school (English and Arabic). Students ages 3 — 18 years old are admitted to Mashrek as follows: Primary Years Programme (IB-PYP): Kindergarten to Grade 5 ,Middle Years Programme (IB-MYP): Grade 6 to Grade 10 International Diploma Programme (IBDP): Grades 11 & 12.

The capacity per class is 25 students. Priority is given to current students who register for the following scholastic year prior to December 31st of the present scholastic year.

Priority for new registration is given to those who have been accepted within the criteria listed below according to: 1. Having siblings in the school 2. Date of application 3. Availability of seats in the required grade 4. Completion of official registration procedures and requirements.

All applicants for grades (3-12) should sit for an entrance exam in Arabic, English and Math. Upon completion of the entrance exam, an interview with the Head of School will be held. If both the entrance exam and interview were successful, the application will be placed on the waiting list until a vacancy in the desired grade arises.

Parents must inform the Administration in writing before December 31st of the previous scholastic year if they wish to withdraw a student from Mashrek, so as to receive a refund for the admission fees. Current students' registration fees should be paid before the abovementioned date, in order to reserve a seat for the following scholastic year. Otherwise, his/her seat will be forfeited to a student from the waiting list.

The school has the right to reject the request of delaying a student's registration for one or more scholastic years. The registration fees are non-refundable in this case.

Mashrek International School is a private, bilingual, co-educational IB World School recognized by the Jordanian Ministry of Education. It was established in 1992. Mashrek offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) for grades 11 and 12; the Middle Years Programme (IBMYP) for grades 6 to 10 and the Primary Years Programme (IBPYP) for KG1 to grade 5.
