  • MMUN 2025 Launches at Mashrek International School

    Mashrek International School’s Model United Nations 2025 was launched at Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi Theater during its opening ceremony. Our distinguished guest speaker this year was Dr. Ibrahim Al Jazi (a lawyer of international law and human rights issues and previously a Jordanian politician; served as Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs & Minister of State for Legal Affairs) who gave a powerful speech. The Secretary General, Deputy Secretary General, Head of Conference and Deputy Head of Conference, delivered speeches introducing this year's theme: "Fractured Balance – Navigating a world of competing powers". The MMUN is a very significant event and the participation of our students in simulated United Nations conferences amplifies the role of youth in addressing global challenges. A sincere thank you to Dr. Ibrahim Al Jazi for joining us today during the MMUN Opening Ceremony, it was an honor to host him.

  • Well-Being Session: 'A Balanced Generation'

    Our Well-Being Department in collaboration with Mashrek Parent Ambassadors organized a well-being session about ‘A Balanced Generation: How do we help children achieve balance in their use of digital technology and screen time’. This session addressed the following main points: how screens affect children’s brains, tips and tools for managing screen time at home and balancing screen time and the use of social media in a digital age. Thanks to our guest speaker Nagham Malhas, Kids Digital Safety Specialist and moderator Dina Saleh, Director of Marketing & Communication at the King Hussein Cancer Foundation.

  • Planting New Rooftop Garden

    As part of the school’s mission and vision to enhance students’ sense of belonging and contribution to the environment, students and teachers from all grades took part in a learning process by planting various plants and trees in the school’s new Mashrek Rooftop Garden. The garden will be a common space to use mindfully and with care by members of our school community.

  • Developmental Milestones Awareness Session for KG Parents

    We held an awareness session for KG parents about ‘Identifying Developmental Milestones and the impact of a rich environment on your child’. This session focused on how to identify the developmental milestones of children aged 3 to 5 years old as well as to learn tips and activities to improve social-communication skills and motor skills of the child. It was conducted by Mashrek staff members: Rawand Ibrahim (Occupational Therapy Specialist), Nour Elayyan (Speech & Language Pathologist) and moderated by Alaa Atallah (Special Needs Educator).

    As part of our continuous efforts to promote a healthy lifestyle for our school community. Mashrek International School is proud to announce its partnership with BLUE FIG (International Coffee Gardens Company), a leading food and beverage supplier in Jordan, to offer top-notch cafeteria services within our school. We carefully chose a wide selection of food and beverage options that are in line with our school’s health policy to provide healthy, nutritious and delicious choices. We look forward to launching our new cafeteria services for this scholastic year.
