  • Mashrek's Rooftop Garden Opening

    We are thrilled to announce that our eco-friendly Rooftop Garden is now complete and ready to be fully utilized by the school community. This project encourages the involvement of our school community in using and taking care of the garden, which will reinforce the commitment of our school to sustainability, the environment and student leadership. Our Rooftop Garden has been carefully landscaped and features 56 types of plants, trees and flowers, along with seating areas and shade structures to provide a peaceful and relaxing outdoor environment for our students and staff. It is our hope that this new space will serve as a source of education and inspiration.

  • 15th Annual Personal Project Exhibition

    Grade 10 students invited parents and staff to attend the 15th Annual Personal Project Exhibition where they unleashed their creativity. Their projects were innovative and genuine. Well done to all grade 10 students on a spectacular job!

  • Guest Speaker Dr. Ayham Odeh - Mashrek Alumni

    Our alumni Dr. Ayham Odeh conducted two sessions for grades 12 and 10 students to share his experience about the best methods and tools for lifelong learning and studying habits, in preparation for their external examinations. Dr. Ayham was happy to answer the students’ questions and share various technological tools that they can employ to help them effectively manage their time and tasks

  • Well-Being Session: 'A Balanced Generation'

    Our Well-Being Department in collaboration with Mashrek Parent Ambassadors organized a well-being session about ‘A Balanced Generation: How do we help children achieve balance in their use of digital technology and screen time’. This session addressed the following main points: how screens affect children’s brains, tips and tools for managing screen time at home and balancing screen time and the use of social media in a digital age. Thanks to our guest speaker Nagham Malhas, Kids Digital Safety Specialist and moderator Dina Saleh, Director of Marketing & Communication at the King Hussein Cancer Foundation.

  • Planting New Rooftop Garden

    As part of the school’s mission and vision to enhance students’ sense of belonging and contribution to the environment, students and teachers from all grades took part in a learning process by planting various plants and trees in the school’s new Mashrek Rooftop Garden. The garden will be a common space to use mindfully and with care by members of our school community.

  • Developmental Milestones Awareness Session for KG Parents

    We held an awareness session for KG parents about ‘Identifying Developmental Milestones and the impact of a rich environment on your child’. This session focused on how to identify the developmental milestones of children aged 3 to 5 years old as well as to learn tips and activities to improve social-communication skills and motor skills of the child. It was conducted by Mashrek staff members: Rawand Ibrahim (Occupational Therapy Specialist), Nour Elayyan (Speech & Language Pathologist) and moderated by Alaa Atallah (Special Needs Educator).
