Mashrek Academy of Music (MAM)

Mashrek Academy of Music (MAM), established in 2021 and located within Mashrek International School in Amman, offers students access to a high-quality, inspiring music education within a nurturing school environment. Open to both Mashrek students and students from outside the school, MAM was created with the belief that young musicians should be able to develop their talents without leaving Jordan. The academy was founded following the return of Mashrek alumnus Iyad Sughayer, whose vision was to build a specialised musical space where creativity, excellence, and opportunity could thrive.

Through a balanced approach that combines performance and academic study, MAM nurtures each student’s individual musical abilities, builds a strong artistic foundation, and inspires a genuine passion for music. Students benefit from expert instruction, meaningful performance opportunities, and a supportive community that values collaboration, inclusion, and creative expression. Empowering students to grow as confident musicians and future contributors to Jordan’s cultural and artistic landscape.
